RE: Invitation to the 7th IAF Conference 2018 (17th -20th October 2018) at Mombasa Continental Resort

Greetings from the International Association of Facilitators (IAF). We are greatly honored to welcome you to the IAF Conference 2018 to be held between 17th -20th October 2018 at Mombasa Continental Resort. The conference aims at expanding facilitation horizons, bridging boundaries within and between organizations, and breaking myths held about facilitation. The conference theme is ‘Spreading the Light of Facilitation in Shades of Grey’.

The conference will accord you, the opportunity to showcase your participation in community engagement and social reform in your country and in your sector. You will also get to network with IAF membership and various organizations from across the world. Most importantly, the conference is a platform for sharing experiences of best practice in facilitation, and a learning space for acquiring inclusive, collaborative and effective facilitation skills. At your disposal will be a worldwide pool of professional facilitators who can support your cause wherever you may be. The conference seeks to enlighten attendees on interesting and practical facilitation techniques that are used when engaging with the community. It is thus a very hands-on experience for all where you will evaluate your own evaluation skills, teach and learn from others.

You and/or your organizations can participate in the conference in the following ways:

  1. Make a presentation (s) during conference sessions
  2. Attend the conference as a delegate
  3. Reserve an exhibition stand within the conference venue for branding and awareness building
